Thomas Hampson enjoys a unique international career as an opera singer, recording artist and the so-called singing ambassador. Besides his work as a professional musician, he is also active in the fields of science, education and technology. Hampson, who has many times been called the singer with the most beautiful baritone; he has won several Grammy, Echo and Edison awards and recorded over 150 albums. He has performed on the world’s best opera and concert stages and is famous for his movie star looks.

The concert will be recorded by the well-known American film director, Jason Starr, who has already recorded several works by Mahler with Thomas Hampson, Neeme Järvi and other top musicians of the world. The globally distributed DVD will be released by Video Artists International.
