Exhibition “Wild Aesthetics” by Peeter Laurits

The exhibition, which will be opened in collaboration with Vaal Gallery, presents the works of Peeter Laurits from various periods of his career. It allows the viewer to observe how the artist has varied the photographic tools of expression, touched the boundaries of the medium and the technical means, and focused on deciphering the mystical-mythical codes that manifest themselves in nature.
Kumu Documentary: “The Space in Between. Marina Abramović and Brazil”
It is a mixture of a road movie, direct cinema, recorded performances and ethnographic film. The film features healing sessions with different mediums and healers and art, of course art!
Urban barley field and harvest feast
Two young designers planted a barley field on the unused stairs at Lasnamäe districts biggest traffic channel and now it is time to harvest the crop. Barley was actually the earliest crop grown in Estonia just precisely in the same area.
At the autumn season concert in Kumu, you can enjoy the arrangements and own works of four talented bassists Peedu Kass, Mihkel Mälgand, Heikko Remmel and Taavo Remmel and Jaan Pehk will be in the midst of all that. Should be interesting!
