‘The Goblin’ is the first Estonian ballet as well as Eduard Tubin’s first work for a music theatre. The work is based on a mythical character from Estonian folklore, the Goblin, whose sole purpose is to serve his greedy master, the Farmer, in obtaining riches. ‘The Goblin’ premiered in 1943 at the Vanemuine Theatre, conducted by the composer himself.

Saku Arena
Tallinn International Horse Show combines top-level equestrian sports, live music and genuine experience of the horse world. The horse festival annually brings together over 120 top athletes and around 200 horses from 10 to 14 different countries. Through the years, we have also offered the audience a memorable show programme. Musical interludes have been provided by the most beloved local artists. Guest performers have also included horse shows and riding school shows from Estonia and abroad.

The Festival of Light is a festival of light and light technologies that explores the light’s scientific and artistic aspects. The main theme of this year’s festival is inspired by the motto of the International Space Week – ‘Exploring New Worlds in Space’. In relation to that, the Luke Manor Park has opened a science venue where visitors can learn more about light. There is also a venue for performing arts where you can experience inspiring scenes from the symbiosis of dancers, singers, actors, light, and music.
