New production by Renate Keerd

Author, director, artist and musical designer: Renate Keerd

Performers: Kompanii Nii members Liisa Tetsmann, Gerda-Anette Allikas, Taavi Rei and Riho Vahtras.

It's typical that Renate Keerd does not give a lot of clues to the audience before the show. So it's also this time. This is the fourth performance by Renate Keerd in Tartu New Theater. However, it is sure that the production is not about the psyche of tractors, but of ourselves - human beings. All this is played out with the handwriting characteristic to Keerd - offering the audience a sense of recognition, tickling the spectrum of senses, and playing with irony, humour, and absurdity of life.

Renate Keerd's productions have been performed at many theatrical and dance festivals in Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia. In 2012, she founded her own physical theater company, Kompanii Nii. For the production of 'Põletatud väljade hurmaa', Keerd was awarded the Culture Carrier of Tartu laureate title and she is also one of the winners of the 2016 Estonian Theater Awards. Her production 'Pure Mind' won the Grand Prix at the International Theater Festival in Minsk and participated at the prestigious Chekhov Theater Festival in Moscow in 2017. Her latest production 'Vaimukuskuss' was premiered at the Von Krahl Theater and participated also at the Estonian Theater Festival Drama 2017.
